Rideshares & Carpooling
For those of you who are heading to training and have an extra seat in your car (or hope somebody else does), here’s the place to meet up. Go ahead and post whatever information you think people will need.
(Hint: They *really* need to know which training you are going to; that would be a great starting point.)

I live in Virginia, near Winchester, west of Loudoun County, a stones throw from West Virginia, in a town with more cows than people, 10 miles or so from interstate 81. I am attending the training in Frost Valley, Claryville, NY in late May. I can drive if necessary, but would much prefer a role of navigating, changing radio stations as directed, holding coffee cups, pumping gas, or performing other such service. I promise not to point out pot holes or brake lights.

I’ll be attending the Frost Valley training, too – but I’ll be coming from Dobbs Ferry, NY (just outside NYC). Is anyone going to be passing through that area who might want to pick me up on the way? I should say, I’m planning on taking LNT, so you’d have to be heading up early. I’d be happy to take over for tired drivers and/or provide tasty car snacks! Hello all, I’m a first time SCA crew leader flying in from Minnesota on Friday, June 4th to attend W.F.R. training in Alton Bay, NH from the 5th – 13th of June. I am wondering if anyone else is planning on attending this training or might be traveling to the pre-orientation workshops in Charleston from the vacinity of northern NH?

I am in Rockville, MD (near DC, but could go east past Baltimore or through middle of Penn) and am driving up to Claryville, NY. I need someone to hold my coffee cup. I am attending the training in Claryville, NY and staying just for the orientation (5/27-5/30). I’ll be coming from the Washington DC area and leaving on 5/26 for the training and returning 5/31 or 6/1. I’ll be coming into Albany on the 23rd for the Claryville training. Wondering if anyone is driving down through that area, or if anyone has knowledge of bus routes from Albany to Claryville.

I would love to share driving with anyone traveling to the Frost Valley Training from the Boston or southern new hampshire area. HWY 84 seems like the way to go and i am happy to meet at a park and ride or pick you up in western or in connecticut. I will be heading to training on Monday, the 24th and returning on the 30th. The company would be wonderful and I would love to cut out the CO2 of driving alone.

I am travellling to the New Hampshire training on Thursday morning from Portland, Maine. I will be returning to Portland on the 26th (or possibly the 27th, as I have lots of family in that area). If anyone else is headed there from Maine and needs a ride to or from the training let me know!
